Project Manta expedition details

Swim and dive with the world’s largest rays at Queensland’s majestic Lady Elliot Island and help us understand what makes these gentle giants tick. Take photographs and video to record the rays’ behaviour, help identify individuals by their unique markings, and build the Manta Identification Database—the first of its kind in the world—which now includes around 440 individual rays.
