Not only can the dive voluntourists enhance their knowledge of marine life, but they can also apply, in a hands-on manner, their photography skills to a practical outcome in marine research and conservation.
Reef Life Survey seeks to establish baseline survey data for fishlife and invertebrates around the coast of Australia and to make this data accessible to the public and other research agencies to tap into.
